Today we visited Pipestone National Monument in SE Minnesota to walk The Circle Trail and see the Visitor Center. The Circle Trail, with side trips was about 1 mile. The Native Americans have quarried pipestone here for thousand of years.
Part of the trail goes through tall grass prairie.
The trail also goes along the quartzite cliffs, such a beautiful place to walk!
