We drove to Missouri Headwaters State Park, north of Three Forks Montana to hike some trails and visit this historic area. Overall we hiked 2 miles.
Before starting a loop trail that went up this bluff, we hiked over to the Gallatin River.

We walked from the north end of the loop trail along the road to the Missouri River, we were hoping to take a short trail up to the point where the Missouri and Gallatin Rivers join, but I didn't want to wade through the water to get to these rocks.
