We drove to the end of the road in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park to the Oxbow Overlook and also the hike along the South Achenbach Trail to Sperati Point and back (about 2.5 miles round trip with 150 ft of overall gain). Views from Oxbow Overlook
The Trail to Sperati Point is the first part of the South Achenback Trail, staying up on the bluff in the prairie.
Sperati Point is soon after the trail starts to descend downhill. Views at Sperati Point:
