Red Canyon aka Peek-A-Boo Canyon

For our second hike, we went to Red Canyon, also known as Kanab's Peek-a-Boo Canyon. This was a short 0.7 round trip through the slot.
The road out is deep sand, HCV and 4WD needed.

There were lots of crinoids on this boulder.

Pink Ledges Trail in Red Canyon

Another short hike in the Red Canyon area northwest of Bryce.
Enjoyed the hoodoos and other rock formations here.

Arches Trail in Red Canyon

Another short hike on our long driving day was the Arches Trail in Red Canyon. This is northwest of Bryce Canyon. There were lots of gorgeous rocks and hoodoos along this short loop hike. We were hiking in dark gray skies with occasional sun breaks.
The landscape was like being in a fairytale. I thought this old tree looked like a weathered witch.
We had a brief snow storm.
