THREE HIKING SISTERS, we love to hike together, but we don't all live in the same state. Sometimes it is only two of us, and sometimes we hike with others. This is a record of some of our hikes.
Our third stop at Wupatki National Monument this morning was to the Visitor Center and Wupatki Pueblo. Parts of the trail was closed, so we did what was open, about 0.3 mile round trip.

Our second stop at Wupatki National Monument this morning was to hike the Doney Trail, 1 mile round trip with 180 ft of total gain. View of the crater rim we hiked as seen from the parking area. We were the only ones on the trail this morning.
It was nice to find flowers in bloom along the trail.

This morning we stopped at Wupatki National Monument before it got too hot to be outside. Our first stop was Citadel Pueblo, ancient ruins with about 0.1-0.2 miles.
