Hickman Bridge Capitol Reef

This afternoon, we stopped in Capitol Reef National Park to hike the Hickman Bridge Trail. This is a two mile round trip hike.
The trail starts along the Fremont River before climbing up the rocky ledges. We saw lots of wildflowers today!

The rock formations are fantastic

After 0.3 miles, the trail splits, we continued on to Hickman Bridge
I think that formation may be Capitol Dome to the north
 looking south
 further along the trail
 we found a double arch
 opening between the arches

 Hickman Bridge in the distance
a loop trail at the bridge, we went clockwise
views of Hickman Bridge from the west

Hickman Bridge is 133 feet long

view through Hickman Bridge from the east side
we stooped at some smaller rock formations on the hike back

Enjoyed this short hike, it is packed with so much to see!!!!
