White Pocket

We went to the White Pocket area of the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. It's a short walk from the parking area to these beautiful rock formations. We spent several hours wondering on and around these sandstone marvels!

Besides the large sandstone structures, I was amazed at some of the designs created in the sandstone by wind, water and sand:

Nearby, there is a large cliff area that had a small cave and petroglyphs.

On the right side by the cave are these petroglyphs.

One of the many lizards we saw.
