South Coyote Buttes

 We were fortunate to get permits to enter the South Coyote Butte area of the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. They give out 20 permits/day. We did not see any other hikers here.
We entered at Paw Hole, the southern end of South Coyote Butte.

This entire area is beautiful with the large sandstone structures. I took so many pictures.















From the Paw Hole area, we walked cross country up to the northern end of South Coyote Buttes. Loved it all!































It's amazing how the wind, sand and water shape the sandstone.
























 At the end of the day, we saw a rainbow!
