Rowena Crest

Our second hike, Rowena Crest, shares the same parking area as the Tom McCall Point trail on the Oregon side of the eastern Columbia River Gorge.
A short 2.5 mile hike with 250 ft of elevation loss/gain.
The flowers were not as abundant here as on Tom McCall Point, but there were plenty of flowers. The wind has very gusty here today.

We found a pond surrounded by trees on this trail, It was a nice sheltered area from the wind today.

Pano of the Columbia River from the northern end of the Rowena Crest Trail.
