Tom McCall Point

 Our first hike today was to Tom McCall Point on the Oregon side of the Eastern Columbia River Gorge. This is a 3.2 mile round trip hike with 1,000 ft of elevation gain.
The flowers were abundant!
 Lots of balsamroot and lupine in bloom!
 As the trail gained elevation, we had great views of the Columbia River and Mt Adams to the north.



 To the west, Mt Hood.








It was very windy and difficult to get good flower pictures, but here are some more flowers that we saw in bloom today:
