We did a gorgeous drive between a short hike at Convict Lake and a moderate hike to Parker Lake in the Inyo National Drive this morning. Irises blooming in a meadow with a view of Carson Peak.

There were several waterfalls roaring down the peaks from the heavy snow melt currently underway.

On our drive via Oil Plant Road to the Palmer Lake Trailhead, we found a balsamroot leading up to a couple of Sierra Peaks.
We found mariposa blooming between the balsamroot plants.
And across the road, there was lupine and balsamroot in bloom with a distant view of Mono Lake.
This spring there is lots of water from the snow melt, here we had mountain views by a wet bag in the meadow.
