Lakeshore Trail at Coulter Bay

We drove to Coulter Bay in Grand Teton National Park this morning to hike the Lakeshore Trail. This is a double loop trail of 2.5 miles in length. We did a figure 8, going clockwise on the first loop, crossing to go counter clockwise on the second loop and then finishing the first loop clockwise.
At the start of both loops is a sign warning of activity of a bear with cubs. We did not see any bears or evidence of bear on our hike.
View from near the far end of the first loop.

We were in the woods for the first half of going around the second loop. Pano view from the shore.

The Tetons are such dramatic peaks!

Another view of the peaks as the sun briefly came out of the clouds.

Other lakeshore views as we continued around the far loop and returned along the first loop.
