This morning we drove along the south rim at Canyon de Chelley National Monument to view the annular eclipse and visit the viewpoints along this route, overall we walked about 2 miles. We started at the Spider Rock Overlook, with this view of Spider Rock.

We enjoyed watching the annular eclipse while listening to a Native American play the flute and chant. After the totality, a nice young man showed me the video he took and let me get a photo of the totality from the screen on the back of his camera, then
he used a filter to take this photo with me camera of the eclipse further along.
