We drove to the end of Trail Lake Road in the Shoshone National Forest near Dubois Wyoming to hike up to Lake Louise in the Fitzpatrick Wilderness, a 5 mile round trip hike with 1,000 ft of overall gain. This is a beautiful trail to a gorgeous lake, we enjoyed the views and the fall colors.

We enjoyed the colorful mountains along the trail.
The trail soon enters the Fitzpatrick Wilderness.
The trail goes from steep ups, to level, to down and up and level and repeat many times.
The fall colors added accents of beauty along the way.

Close to the end of the trail, we went a very short ways along the Glacier Trail to this bridge over Torrey Creek.
