Stewart Falls Mount Timpanogos Wilderness

We drove up the Alpine Loop Scenic Backway (Hwy 92) in Utah and stopped near Aspen Grove to hike out to Stewart Falls, 3.8 miles round trip with 600 ft of overall gain.
View of mountains with some fall color from the parking area
A beautiful hike through a mixed forest of deciduous trees and conifers.
We saw more fall color as we continued along the trail.

Throughout the hike, there were open areas with lovely mountain views.
We could hear the waterfall before we could see it.

View across the valley as we headed down to the bottom of the falls.

Stewart Falls from the near side of the stream
There is lots of water coming off the falls.

View of Stewart Falls a bit further downstream, we found a nice spot to take a lunch break.

A couple of photos from the hike back.
