Schonchin Butte

 We hiked up Schonchin Butte, 1.4 miles round trip with 500 ft of gain.

 There were some trees and rabbit brush along the trail.

 We could see up to Tule Lake in the north

 and Mount Shasta to the southwest

 getting closer to the lookout on top of Schonchin Butte
