Chaos Crags Trail

Arrived in Lassen National Park in the afternoon, so choose a short hike up to Choas Crags, 4 miles round trip with 990 ft of elevation gain.

The trail goes through a forest of pines.

Crags Lake is in a depression below Chaos Crags. We were fortunate to see any water in it as it usually dries up by late summer.
