Marymere Falls

The second waterfall I visited today was Marymere Falls in the Storm King area of Olympic National Park. This trail is about 1.6 miles round trip with 200 ft of gain. The trail goes near Crescent Lake,

and then goes through a tunnel under Highway 101.

There are some lovely tall trees in the forest here with lots of moss.

The trail goes across Barnes Creek on a large foot bridge, via looking upstream and

looking downstream.

Smaller footbridge just before the waterfall view loop trail.

I liked the roots at the bottom of this tree.
