Spatter Cones, the North Crater Trail and the North Crater Flow Trail in Craters of the Moon National Park

For the last hike, combined three trails that were adjacent to each other as a shuttle hike. Started at the trailhead for both Spatter Cones (0.1 miles to two cones), one way on the North Crater Trail (1.8 miles) then a short walk to the North Crater Flow Trail (0.3 miles) and a short walk to the campground.

There is a paved trail up to a large spatter cone
the vent inside the large Spatter Cone

The vent inside Snow Cone, there is snow in the vent

The North Crater Trail goes up to the rim of Big Craters,

The trail then descends towards the crater's mouth
I found more of the iridescent cinders along this trail

another part of the lava flow:

There were some interesting lava features on the North Crater Flow Trail

Some of the lava had a blue glass in it
