We drove to the Andy Kunasek Trailhead of the Maricopa Trail to do a very small section. We headed east for 2 miles than returned. There were some nice wildflowers along the trail. We went after sunrise and only saw one other hiker when we were on our way back to the trailhead.

The trail goes past some private property. We turned around shortly after this point.
