Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Wetland Walk

 We stopped for a nature wetland walk at the Sacramento Naional Wildlife Refuge on our drive north on I-5 this afternoon. This is a pleasant walk. We saw hawks, red wing blackbirds, an egret and many other songbirds on this walk.

 This is path wanders through wetlands, vernal pools and riparian habitat.

 Several lizards ran across the path before disappearing under the leaves.

 Very peaceful
