Berkley Park

We drove up to Sunrise at Mt Rainier National Park to hike to Berkley Park, about 7 miles round trip with about 1,200 ft loss/gain.
From the parking lot at Sunrise we headed up to the Sourdough Ridge Trail, gorgeous views of Rainier here.
As we headed west on the Sourdough Ridge Trail, we had gorgeous views and wildflowers along the trail as we were above Yakima Park.

Frozen Lake and Mount Fremont

From Frozen Lake, we followed the Wonderland Trail for 0.8 mile

Wide angle view of Berkley Park, as we descended down the Northern Loop Trail to the north.

Skyscraper Peak in the distance.

Berkley Park was filled with wildflowers and

many marmots
Mount Fremont above Berkley Park
We slowly sauntered through Berkley Park enjoying the wildflowers and mountain stream as we both descended down the trail and back up on our return.
