Ginko Petrified Forest State Park Backcountry

We drove out to Vantage WA to hike the Ginko Petrified State Park Backcountry Trail which is mostly closed dirt roads. This morning we headed out to what I hike was Babcock Bench and back, about 5.5 miles with 850 ft of overall gain. The wildflowers are beginning to bloom. We didn't see any other hikers on this cloudy, sprinkly day.

There were 3 benchmarks here, I liked that petrified wood was imbedded in the concrete block.
