Trail of Mosses

After our hike to Ozette Lake and Beaver Falls we decided to drive down to the Hoh River entrance of Olympic National Park. We had a nice view of some snowy Olympic peaks on the drive in.

We decided to do the short 0.8 mile loop Trail of Mosses, it is located a short ways down the Hoh River Trail.
A short beautiful trail filled with lots of trees and moss.

I liked these exposed intertwined roots where a nurse log has rotted away.
There are some fun spaces to explore at the base of some of the large trees where the original nurse log is long gone.
