Spray Falls and Spray Park

A gorgeous hike today up to Spray Falls and Spray Park on the west side of Mt Rainier out of Mowich Lake. This is an 8 mile hike with about 2,000 ft of elevation gain. The trail starts in the forest going up and down along the trail.
About 1-3/4 miles from the trailhead, there is a short (100 ft) side trail to Eagle Cliff Viewpoint for a great view of Mt Rainier.
At 2 miles from the trailhead is a short 0.1 mile spur trail to Spray Falls

View of Spray Falls a bit up further up.

A short series of switchbacks climbs up towards Spray Park, where there is a view of Mt Rainier, before returning to the woods.
There are many, varied views of Mt Rainier along the trail through Spray Park

About 4 miles from the trailhead, there is a short side trail with a view down to Mist Park

There were still some snow fields near the trail here.

A bit further along the trail, looking over Mother Mountain, a very distant Mt Baker and Glacier Peak could be seen far to the north.

Returning back through Spray Park, enjoying the flower filled meadows

Some of the flowers seen along the trail today:
