THREE HIKING SISTERS, we love to hike together, but we don't all live in the same state. Sometimes it is only two of us, and sometimes we hike with others. This is a record of some of our hikes.

Talapus and Olallie Lakes
We drove up to the Talapus Lake Trailhead at the end of FR 9030 to hike to both Talapus and Olallie Lakes, 6.2 miles round trip with 1,200 ft of gain. This hike is in the forest and soon enters the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. There was a little bit of fog when we started.

Then we continued up this loverly forested trail to Olallie Lake where we had lunch before returning to the trailhead
