Crane Petroglyph Site

This morning we stopped at the Crane Petroglyph Site (formerly known as the V Bar V Heritage Site, northeast of Rimrock AZ. When we went it was open Friday-Monday, hours depending on the season. From the parking area to the Visitor Center and on to the Petroglyphs is 1 mile round trip. The petroglyphs are on a large rock wall.
There was a volunteer interpreter at the site giving a talk and we were able to view the art from behind a wooden fence. I spent quite a bit of time going back and forth, trying to see as much as I could, some of my photos
The walk through the meadow was very pleasant and we saw a few wildflowers
