We drove up to Sunrise Point at Mt Rainier to hike up to Dege Peak, 3 miles round trip with 820 ft of gain. The forecast was Mostly Sunny, but we were in the clouds/fog for the entire hike. It was beautiful with the wildflowers in bloom and so serene. We saw only 2 other hikers on the trail this morning.

There were lots of cascade asters in bloom along the trail and covering the meadows.
We could not see far, but we appreciated the wildflowers and misty scenery around us today.
Very limited views up on Dege Peak (7,006 ft), it felt as if we were on the edge of the world.
On our way back down the trail, no views of Mt Rainer, but enjoyed the beauty that surrounded us.
