Hidden Valley

We drove down to the South Mountain Park Preserve south of Phoenix to hike up to Hidden Valley, about 3.8 miles round trip with 800 ft of gain. This is a beautiful area with lovely rock formations.

We started early to avoid the heat of the day.

Along the trail we saw lots of lovely rocks.

Lovely rocks and saguaro cacti

one end of Fat Mans Pass

It's a tight squeeze

I decided to go around, as I heard people have gotten stuck in there.

More lovely rock formations

I enjoyed seeing this wonderful landscape.
