With the avalanche conditions rated considerable to high in most areas, we opted to snowshoe the Wenatchee Crest Trail at Blewett Pass today. We had fresh snow and a sunny day! We did 7.5 miles round trip with 750' of overall gain. We were the first ones out on the trail this morning.
Beautiful views of some of the peaks in the Enchanments to the northwest.

zoom of Mount Stuart
Love the fresh snow on the trail
About 3+ miles down the road, we took the left and then headed up this steep little hill.
We were rewarded with a view of Mt Rainier to the southwest in the distance.
zoom of Mt Rainier above the clouds
to the east was Diamond Head across Blewett Pass
I took my snowshoes off to slide down the steepest section of the little hill and promptly post holed to above my knees.
Enjoying the view of the peaks in the Enchantments as we snowshoed back.
