Silver Falls at Mt Rainier

There are several ways to hike to Silver Falls, we decided to take the short 0.6 mile round trip from Hwy 123 on the southeast corner of Mt Rainier National Park. The trailhead is at a turnout, a short 0.25 miles south on 123 before the entrance to the Steven Canyon Entrance.

A short path leads to a bridge going over Ohanapecosh River (this is a little over 4 miles down the Eastside Trail from the Ohanapecosh Falls we visited earlier today).
