Reflection Lake Snowshoe

Went up to Mt Rainier National Park with some new hiking friends, this was a first time to snowshoe for some of them. We started at the parking lot at Narada Falls to head up to Reflection Lake. A 3+ mile rt with about 500 ft of elevation gain.
The first part of the trail goes through the woods along Paradise Creek for about 0.5 mile.

Lots of fresh snow to hike in!
The small falls under the bridge had a lovely ice curtain in front of it.

Because the avalanche risk was low, we opted to snowshoe along the Paradise Valley Road via Inspiration Point to Reflection Lake, this section is a bit over a mile long with great views.
Panorama looking over the Paradise Valley:

Looking back toward Mt Rainier to the north.
Heading to Reflection Lake with the Tatoosh Range to the south.

A gray jay decided to take a break on my pole.
The wind was very strong up along the Tatoosh Range, you can see the snow blowing off the peak.
Lots of beautiful, snow covered trees.
