Rattlesnake Creek Summer Hike Montana

 We went for a late afternoon hike today in the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area, Rattlesnake Creek. There are a lot of interconnecting trails. Our hike was about 6.5 miles with 300 ft of elevation gain.






 The trail starts on a nice wide path in the forest.

 There was a stock bridge over Rattlesnake Creek.
 Giving nice views up Rattlesnake Creek.
 We walked by open meadows



 Some still had wildflowers.

 We had a nice view of the surrounding area further up the trail.
