Dinosaur Trail

We drove to Bell's Trailhead in the North Unit at San Angelo State Park this morning to hike the Dinosaur Trail and added on a few connecting trails to make a big loop of sorts this morning, overall 4.8 miles. There were lots of wildflowers in bloom along the trail!

The trail was mostly flat with trees, open areas, lots of cacti and wildflowers.

We started going counterclockwise on the Dinosaur Trail.

Wildflowers growing in the trail.

We crossed Littlefoot Draw and soon

found this sign explaining about the tracks.

Sign into the section of the draw with the tracks.

What I think are some of the tracks:

Back on the trail, here we found a bunch of purple mallow poopies in a ring of prickly pear cacti.

Part of the North Slickrock Trail:

Lots of evening primroses

We finished along the Shady Trail back to the trailhead.
