Sourdough Rim Trail and Dege Peak

Drove up to Sunrise Point at Mt Rainier National Park to hike up to Dege Peak and as it was a beautiful day, decided to continue along Sourdough Ridge to Sunrise then back to Sunrise Point, over all 6.2 miles and 1,030 ft of gain. There were wildflowers in bloom and this trail was much less crowded then other trails starting at Sunrise. View of Mt Rainier from Sunrise Point parking area.
