This morning we drove to the Phoenix Mountain Reserve at first light to hike before it got hot. The sun rose while we were hiking.
There are many trails here, we combined a few to make a loop hike up and over Peak 1952 for about 2.5 miles and 400 ft of gain.
Views as we were hiking,
Peak 1952 is on the left.
Lots of interesting rock formations here.
