Mazama Ridge

Beautiful sunny day, we decided to snowshoe up to Mazama Ridge from Paradise at Mt Rainier National Park. My favorite snowshoe route! However, the route was so well packed down, we didn't need to use our snowshoes, but wore microspikes for the entire hike. Our route today was 4 miles round trip with an overall elevation gain of 1,050 ft.

As we continued to gain elevation, we could see the Goat Rocks, Mt Adams, Mt Hood and Mt St Helens in the distance beyond the Tatoosh Range.
