Dickerson Falls

After walking the Big Tree Trail this morning, I drove to Ueland Tree Farm to walk to Dickerson Falls, this was 2.2 miles with abou 220 ft of overall gain through a lovely forest. I took the forest trail to the junction with the forest road, a well maintained trail

Big Tree Trail

This morning I drove to the Rhododendron Preserve part of the Keta Legacy Foundation near Bremerton. I took the Big Tree Trail (1 mile round trip/150 ft loss/gain) through a beautiful forest. Some views through the forest heading down the switch backs.

Narada Falls and Christine Falls

After our hike at Paradise at Mt Rainier National Park, we stopped to see Narada Falls and Christine Falls. The trail to Narada Falls was very ice, so we wore our microspikes. 0.2 miles round trip with 100 ft of loss then gain. There was a rainbow at the bottom of the falls

From the pullout at Christine Falls, it is a very short walk along the road to see the Upper Falls and a short trail to see the lower falls

Glacier Vista

We drove up to Paradise at Mt Rainier National Park to hike up to Glacier Vista, the route was well packed down, so we did not need snowshoes. The sky was blue and warm, the views beautiful andsaw very few people out on the mountain today. Our route was 2.8 miles round trip with 1,100 ft of gain.
