Sequalitchew Creek
This morning we drove down to Dupont to hike the Sequalitchew Creek Trail, 3.5 miles round trip with 200 ft of loss gain.
The 1.5 mile trail down to the beach parallels the creek and is through a mixed conifer and deciduous forest with lots of moss and ferns.
Sequalitchew Creek before it goes under the railroad tracks to Puget Sound
The trail goes through a tunnel under the railroad tracks to reach the beach
Views along the beach
To the south, out in Puget Sound, we could see an old ship wreck
On the way back, we took the side trail across Sequalitchew Creek to some old ruins
