Mountain Home Ridge

For our first hike this morning, we started in Leavenworth to hike Mountain Home Ridge trails, about 3.5 miles and 500 ft of gain. We went up the Canyon Crest Trail and came back on the Rat Creek Ridge Trail.
The trail starts up a closed road, then goes through a forest before reaching the ridge. We saw lots of wildflowers and had some mountain views with clouds.

Mountain Home Ridge

We drove out to Leavenworth to hike Mountain Home Ridge trails, about 3.5 miles and 500 ft of gain. We went up the Canyon Crest Trail and came back on the Rat Creek Ridge Trail. Next time, I would go the other way so we would be hiking into the views. We saw 4 other hikers and 2 cyclists

The hike up is in the forest until we reached the far side of the loop. There were some serviceberry trees in bloom,

quite a few anemones,
and a few balsamroot, along with other wildflowers.

The views started at the end of the Canyon Crest Trail and the top of the Rat Creek ridge Trail,
