Hat Rock State Park
Continuing on our road trip to La Grande OR, we stopped at Hat Rock State Park near Umatilla OR, and walked along some of the trails for a little more than one mile.
First we walked over to Hat Rock

We continued down across a bridge and up the Lewis and Clark Commemorative Trail for a very short ways for a view of the Columbia River

Chamna Nature Preserve
On our drive to La Grande Oregon, we stopped at the Chamna Nature Preserve in Richland WA and hiked the River, Peninsul Loop and Tapteal Trails making a 3.7 mile loop. This area had lots of trees with some river views.

Bean Creek Basin
We drove out to the Beverly Turnpike Trailhead in the Teanaways to hike up to Bean Creek Basin, 5 miles round trip with 1,900 ft of gain. We saw many wildflowers on this beautiful day.
