Rings Loop
This afternoon, we drove to Hole-in-the-Wall at Mojave National Monument to hike the 1 mile Rings Loop Trail. A fun hike with wildflowers, some petroglyphs and a scramble up (or down) through Banshee Canyon. WE only saw 6 other hikers on the trail, and had Banshee Canyon and the rings to ourselves.
We hiked the trail clockwise, so we would be going up through Banshee Canyon.
We found the petroglyphs a short ways down the trail
Continuing along the trail
Entering Banshee Canyon and up the ring section (about 100 ft of gain)
Great rock formations, including some holes in the walls, as we continue the loop.

Rock Spring Loop
We drove to the Rock Spring Trailhead in Mojave National Monument to hike the 1 mile loop trail. There were some small up and downs with abou 100 ft of gain overall.
We started at the Rock House, then hiked around the trail counterclockwise. Here are some of the views we saw along the way.
