Beach 4

This morning we drove to Beach 4, one of the Kalaloch Beaches, on the Pacific Coast in Olympic National Park, to explore the tidal pools at low tide (-2 feet), great day! There is a short 0.2 mile walk down through the forest to the mostly sandy beach. We headed a short distance to the north, exploring the rocky areas to find abundant sea life in the tidal pools.

Beach 4

I drove down to the Kalaloch area of Olympic National Park for a couple of short beach stops. First I went to Beach 4, a fabulous place to to explore tide pools at low tide. This morning's low tide was -1.4 ft. The walk to the large rocks from the parking area is about 1 mile round trip. View of Beach 4 from a viewpoint near the parking area.
There is a very short trail through the woods down to the beach.
