Maiden Peak
Drove up to Deer Park i Olympic National Park to hike the Grand Ridge Trail to Maiden Peak and back, 7.2 miles round trip with 1,800 ft of overall gain. A cloudy day with some lovely views, We found some wildflowers and lots of fungi. The first couple of miles are through the forest with some peek a boo views of nearby peaks.
