Franklin Falls Wagon Road Loop

We drove up the Denny Creek Road to the parking area for that and Franklin Falls this morning. We hiked up the Franklin Falls Trail to Franklin Falls then returned via the Wagon Road Trail for a 2 mile loop with 350 ft overall gain. Views along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River heading up the Franklin Falls trail

We saw a few wildflowers, some berries and fungi along the trail this morning

Marymere Falls

We drove to the Marymere Falls Trailhead along Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park this afternoon to hike up to Marymere Falls, 1.8 miles round trip with 186 ft of gain. View of Marymere Falls from the lower and upper viewpoints:

Snoqualmie Falls

We drove to the East Parking lot by the SAlish Lodge between Fall City and Snoqualmie to visit Snoqualmie Falls. After viewing the falls from Upper Viewpoints, we hiked down to the Lower Viewpoint. We were picked up at the lower parking lot, making our hike 0.7 miles with 350 ft of descent.

White River Falls State Park

This afternoon we stopped at White River Falls State Park south of the Dalles in Oregon. We hiked the trail to White River Falls and down to Lower White River Falls, 0.8 miles round trip with 140 ft loss/gain. Beautiful waterfalls and wildflowers. White River Falls are seen near the top of the trail, but more of it can be seen a bit further down the trail.
