Old Caves Crater
In Flagstaff, we hiked the Old Caves Crater up to the top of Old Caves Crater enjoying the views and looking at the many old steam vents on this large cinder cone, 2.5 miles round trip with 500 ft of gain. The hike starts in a forest with Ponderosa pines and Juniper trees. First photo, Old Caves Crater above the trees

I love the bark on aligator junipers, and this one seems to have an alligator jutting out lol
We also saw a few wildflowers
