THREE HIKING SISTERS, we love to hike together, but we don't all live in the same state. Sometimes it is only two of us, and sometimes we hike with others. This is a record of some of our hikes.

Blind Ash Trail
We rented a boathouse at Voyageurs National Park, so we started this hike from the boat dock, it was 3.5 miles round trip with 245 ft of overall gain. This hike is through the woods with some views of Kabetogama Lake and Blind Ash Bay. 
On our way to the official trailhead, we saw a painted turtle and several insects including the colorful rosy maple moth

We also saw some wildflowers in bloom including the pink lady slipper!
We also saw a white moth, some shelf fungus, a heart shape impression in a large rock and leaves with some type of colorful growth on them
