Myrtle Falls Idaho

We stopped at the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge near Bonner's Ferry Idaho to hike up to Myrtle Falls, about 1 mile round trip with 130 ft of gain. This was a lovely hike in the forest with some wildflwoers along the trail. Myrtle Falls

Oxbow Trail

We decided to get one more hike in before the afternoon thundershowers today in Glacier National Park. We did the short 1 mile round trip trail to an Oxbow in the Lower McDonald Creek. Lovely views of Lower McDonald Creek seen along this forested trail.

Shasta Loop Trail

We drove to Rowena Crest, between the Dalles and Hood River, to hike the short Shasta Loop Trail (one mile). It was very windy making it difficult to get good photos of the wildflowers. Beautiful area! Views along the trail
