Rocky Point
This morning we drove to the Rocky Point/Lake McDonald Trail trailhead at Fish Creek to hike part way (about 2 miles) along the Lake McDonald Trail and return via the Rocky Point Trail, overall 4 miles/400 ft gain. Last night the snow level came down to Kalispell, but it was quickly melting as we drove up to Glacier National Park. Some snow on the bridge crossing Fish Creek near the start of the trail.

We had a few glimpses of Lake MacDonald along the Lake McDonald Trail (it was mostly forested), we could see the clouds were mostly covering the mountains
About 2 miles up the trail, we found a side trail to the lakeshore and could see the clouds were beginning to lift, a good time to turn back to Rocky Point
