We drove up to the North Shore of Big Bear Lake to hike the short Woodland Trail. This is a 1.7 mile loop, where we saw wildflowers and lizards. Nice break on a long road drive day. Along the route were large boulders and some views of the tree covered mountains nearby.

Lots of evening primrose along the trail.
